Roadway Paving
Please note that while initial paving work typically moves quickly, sidewalk and curbing improvements require additional time to complete
As with all our projects, access to properties will be maintained with some inconveniences as the roadways are repaved, driveways are replaced and concrete sidewalks poured. Parking may be restricted during the working week as necessary to complete construction.
Pavement Marking Improvements
Every year, pavement markings are repainted throughout the City includin road yellow center line striping, crosswalks, stop bars, and other pavement markings. Because this work requires large areas of the City and negatively impacts traffic flow, the vast majority of the work occurs overnight (8 pm to 6 am). This work is ongoing and paint application is highly weather dependent (e.g., wet streets and cold weather prohibits paint installation).
